Bio: Yuanyan Tang, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Chief Professor, Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Macau, [1-3] Honorary Professor, Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong Baptist University, [4] IEEE Fellow, IAPR Fellow, Chairman of the International Pattern Recognition Technical Committee (IEEE SMC), Executive Director of the Chinese Society of Automation. [2] Professor Tang Yuanyan has been engaged in scientific research in the fields of pattern recognition and image processing for a long time, and has achieved a series of highly innovative and internationally advanced research results. In particular, he has made significant contributions to the progress of science and technology and won the first prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education in 2005. More than 240 major research results have been published in high-level international journals and conferences.

Prof. Jixin Ma

Bio: Dr Jixin Ma is a Full Professor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and the Director of PhD/Postgraduate Research Programme in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at University of Greenwich, U.K. He has been the Director of the Centre for Computer and Computational Science and the Lead of Artificial Intelligence Research Group. Professor Ma is also a Visiting Professor of Beijing Normal University, Hainan University, Anhui University, Zhengzhou Light Industrial University and Macau City University. Professor Ma obtained his BSc and MSc of Mathematics in 1982 and 1988, respectively, and PhD of Computer Sciences in 1994. His main research areas include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Information Systems, with special interests in Temporal Logic, Information Security, Machine Learning, Case-Based Reasoning and Pattern Recognition. Professor Ma has been a member British Computer Society, American Association of Artificial Intelligence, ACIS/IEEE, World Scientific and Engineering Society, and Special Group of Artificial Intelligence of BCS. He has also been the Editor of several international journals and international conference proceedings, Conference/Program Chair, and Invited Keynote Speakers of many international conferences. Professor Ma has published more than 200 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.

Bio: Adrian David Cheok AM FIET FIEAust FRSA is Full Professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Director of the Imagineering Institute, Malaysia, Visiting Professor at Raffles University, Malaysia, Visiting Professor at University of Novi Sad-Serbia, on Technical faculty “Mihailo Pupin”, Serbia, Faculty of Ducere Business School, and CEO of Nikola Tesla Technologies Corporation.
In 2024, Professor Adrian David Cheok was honored with induction as a Full Member into Sigma Xi USA, The Scientific Research Honor Society, a recognition that not only signifies his dedication to scientific excellence but also aligns his contributions with those of groundbreaking researchers. Sigma Xi is a beacon of distinction within the global scientific community, boasting over 200 Nobel Laureates among its members, including luminaries such as Albert Einstein. Prof. Pavel Loskot

Zhejiang University, China

Bio: Pavel Loskot joined the ZJU-UIUC Institute in January 2021 as an Associate Professor after being 14 years with the College of Engineering at Swansea University in the UK. He received his PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta in Canada, and the MSc and BSc degrees in Radioelectronics and Biomedical Electronics, respectively, from the Czech Technical University of Prague in the Czech Republic. In the past nearly 30 years, he had diverse teaching assignments, and was involved in numerous collaborative research and development projects concerning mostly wireless and optical communication systems, but also network science, computational molecular biology, renewable energy, and air transport management. He also held a number of paid consultancy contracts with industry. In 2012, he outlined the concept of interactive information discovery in a large corpora of documents akin to searching the web, which he shared to a key industry player in early 2014.

Dr. Amir Masoud Molaei

Queen's University Belfast, UK

Bio: Amir Masoud Molaei (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in communications engineering from the Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, Iran, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in communications engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology (BNUT), Babol, Iran, in 2019.,He was ranked first in the Ph.D. entrance exam/interview in telecommunication systems at BNUT and ranked first among the Ph.D. graduates from the Telecommunication Engineering Department. From 2015 to 2019, he was a Lecturer with the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, BNUT. From 2019 to 2020, he was a Radio Frequency Planning Engineer with Future Wave Ultratech Company, Tehran, Iran. Since 2020, he has been a Research Fellow with the Centre for Wireless Innovation, Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), Belfast, U.K. He has authored or coauthored more than 70 refereed articles and has filed two patents. His current research interests include signal processing, radar systems, and wireless communications.,Dr. Molaei is a Fellow of the U.K. Higher Education (HE) Academy and an assessor for Advance HE Fellowships. He has been on the IEEE Senior Member Application Review Panel. He was a recipient of the STAR Scheme Consolidated Performance Award for exceptional performance and contribution in the academic year 2022/2023. In 2024, he won the Postdoc Award, recognized for Support contributions with the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, QUB.
